These were our first walls which were cut with a corner mitre cut.  The panels are 75mm thick and we cut the 45 degree angle using a circular saw through the steel and a staniless steel wire Garot style.  The panels sit in galvanised steel 75mm channels designed for steel stud construction and available at local Bunnings Store – rather than the more expensive aluminium powdercoated channels designed for coolrooms.  Flooring is 23mm particle board flooring sitting on the 600mm spaced steel joists.  There is a black plastic damp proof course between the steel frame and the flooring.   The large angle bracket was used to help lift the frame up and off the trailer.  The trailer has been removed and the whole frame is sitting on adjustable legs sitting on treated pine blocks.   The lift was done with a single high lift jack and a stack of pallets but we are looking at a more sophisticated lifting system to move the completed tiny hous onto and off the trailer.

14 April 2020: Our tiny house is slowly coming together. Walls go up first, windows then get cut in and fitted, panels are bored to take conduit and electrical wiring, shower base was fitted today requiring a 75mm move from plans to avoid a steel floor joist. This Tiny has a large ground floor bathroom, sleeping loft for guests/ grandchildren, kitchen and living room. The blue arrow motif is a protective film on the panels that will eventually be removed. Putting self isolation to productive use.

17 April: The tiny house build continues Three more panels and the second layer is done. While it is a tiny house the tiny door way will be enlarged once the rest of the walls are in place. The third level is made up of two 3600 panels cut through the diagonal leading to a mid point ridge. To make this work the rear panels have the male tongue upwards while the front panels have the groove upwards, There is very little waste in this design.
